Nazi Unemployment Policies
The Nazis worked miracles upon the German economy during their rule. From 1933 to 1939, unemployment dropped from 6 million people to less than 302,000. When you think about it, that is quite a drastic change; in 6 years, over 5.5 million people are not unemployed anymore. Though this is a startling statistic, the truth is far more deadly.
In truth, the Nazis gave low-paid jobs to practically any person possible. They organized work camps where even the humblest beggar (loyal to the Nazis, of course) could get food and shelter as well as a job. Those who opposed the Nazis were kicked off their job and never seen again. The honest truth about all the unemployed people was that they probably were made to 'kick the bucket' and that is why the unemployment numbers dropped.
The main reasons why unemployment dropped during the Nazi regime was, one, because of their strict disciplinary work groups, and two, because of all the murders they committed to slaughter enemies.
